How much do you charge?

How much do you charge?

The cost of the band depends on a few factors, but primarily the location and length of the performance. Please use our Bookings page for a quote. Please specify as much information as possible, including starting time, duration of performance, location, and venue. We will get back to you as soon as possible with a quote.

Do you play wedding ceremonies?

Yes, the band does play wedding ceremonies. Some people looking for non-traditional music love the idea of pop music for their ceremony. We will work with you for an appropriate song selection.

Do I need a real piano at my event?

No. Although a real piano is sometimes nice, many venues do not have this luxury. In this case, we will bring a portable digital piano.

How does set up work? When do you get to my event?

Generally we will arrive at the event one hour prior to the performance. We set up immediately (usually about 30 min) and then retreat until the performance should begin. This gives you the peace of mind that there will not be any commotion as your guests arrive.

Do you offer DJ services?

Absolutely! We can spin your favorite Hip-Hop, Rap, Techno artists during our breaks. This is a popular option.

When do you guys pack up?

We pack up immediately following the performance. Usually this does not disturb guests as we also try to find alternate exits for removing equipment and stay quiet throughout this time. If you need to make special arrangements for us to stay longer though, please don't hesitate to ask.

Do you take any breaks?

Yes, usually we take approximately 10 to 15 min. for every hr of performance. If you have any special requests we will gladly accommodate. (For example: play for 2 hrs, then take a 30 min break)

How will the band dress?

The band will wear dress suits unless instructed to wear tuxedos.

Do I need to supply equipment for the band?

Infractions will supply all our own equipment, including instruments, amplifiers, extension cords, etc. You only need to provide the space and at least 2 electrical outlets.

What volume will the band play at?

The band will keep the volume at a comfortable level. Since there are many factors involved (room size, number of guests, etc.) please let us know if we should adjust our volume. Rest assured, we've rarely been told to do so.

I've decided to hire you for my event. What next?

Once you have decided to hire us, we will send you a contract for you to sign. This will outline the performance details in addition to any other pertinent information.

How does payment work? What forms of payment to you accept?

At the time of the contract, a regular check covering the deposit is sufficient. The remaining payment can be made either prior to the performance by check or at the end of the performance by cash or certified check only.

Do we need to meet in person to finalize any details?

Usually this isn't necessary, as any communication can be done by email, phone, or regular mail. However, if you find it important to meet first, arrangements can be made.

Do you always perform as a seven piece?

In the past, we have performed in many different formations, including a quintet, a quartet, and a trio. We generally book ourselves as a seven piece band these days. If it is important that you have a saxophone, trumpet, or any other instrument at your event, we can accomodate you.
